Rare silver proof 2 x £1 set reverse frosting 1999 2000

A rather special silver proof set of 2 x £1 coins from 1999 to 2000. This is the Special Frosted edition from a strictly limited edition of just 2000 per individual coin.

The background on each side has the frosted finish, with the raised design having the mirror like finish. The complete opposite to what you will see on a traditional silver proof £1.

The two coins are:

• 1999 silver proof Rampant Scottish Lion
• 2000 silver proof Welsh Dragon

Each coin is 9g sterling silver with a diameter of 22.5mm

Presented in a blue Royal Mint case and complete Certificates of Authenticity.
